Ureka

The challenge with Ureka was to develop a modern LMS as a SaaS solution that can be flexibly used by a wide range of companies – while remaining intuitive and easy to navigate. Despite its depth of content and wide range of features, the application needed to be easily accessible, clearly structured, and visually appealing.

The potential: a learning space that conveys complex topics in a playful way, combines scalability with user-friendliness, and sets new standards in digital learning.

Ureka structures the learning experience into three interconnected areas: In the Learning section, companies can create and provide their own content – from text to multimedia formats. Users work through the material independently and at their own pace.

The Training section deepens knowledge through interactive exercises such as multiple choice, fill-in-the-blanks, or matching tasks. Finally, the Exam section enables formal knowledge assessment – including evaluation and the option to issue certificates.

Multiple-choice questions are a core element of Ureka and can be seamlessly integrated into any learning unit – as interim exercises, to reinforce content, or as quick knowledge checks along the way. These questions can be individually configured in terms of quantity, difficulty level, or feedback settings, offering maximum flexibility for content creators.

A particularly motivating feature: users can compete against each other in quiz mode, allowing them to challenge one another in a playful way. This not only enhances learning success but also introduces incentives through competition and comparison. The result: active, engaging learning that sticks.

Texts in Ureka are more than just static content – they can be actively explored and individually adapted. Users can highlight passages to emphasize key information or save it for later. Technical terms are automatically recognized by an integrated glossary and visually marked within the text – a single click reveals the definition. For maximum readability, font sizes and colors can also be customized, making learning more accessible, comfortable, and tailored to individual needs.

With Ureka, certificates can be easily managed and assigned individually. For each learning unit, you can define whether a certificate should be issued – and under which conditions, such as passing an exam or completing the module. This makes learning progress visible and formally documented.

Ureka adds a playful element to learning: by completing chapters, trainings, and exams, users earn points and climb the rankings. This boosts motivation, makes progress visible, and encourages interaction through healthy competition.
